Difference between reiki and magnetism

Magnetism and reiki are frequently mentioned names that are related to healing or relieving by laying on of hands. If these two methods are close enough to each other in that they send a healing energy to a patient, they nevertheless present fundamental differences in their origins and functioning. So, if you hesitate to make an appointment between a session of magnetism or reiki, this article is for you!

Magnetiser or Reiki master: who are they?

The principle remains the same on the merits between magnetiser and master reiki: they channel an energy to relieve, even heal in some cases, physical and even emotional pain of another person. The mechanism that plays here is difficult to analyse, because it is not simply a question of referring to a patient, any energy.

This energy can be aspirational, that is, it removes the bad energy from the person. The healing energy is sent to the person so they can work on healing themselves. However, the reiki master and the magnetiser do not operate in the same way. Reiki is a technique that aims to channel the energy present in the universe to send it to a specific problem of a person. The reiki master is only an intermediary, a channel, between the energy of the universe and the patient. It does not give its own energy in this exchange system, but does not guide the care either. Indeed, he relies completely on universal energy simply by entrusting him with the task of solving the problem. However, the energy will penetrate the patient and spread in him to act on the physical or emotional cause without distinction.

The magnetiser, on the other hand, has a magnetism, usually in his hands, that allows him to heal using his own energy. It is not just a channel, but the transmitter of healing energy. He will therefore draw on his own resources to relieve a patient. Likewise, he does not let his energy do all the work. In general, his first intention is to remove the pain. Then, he will go deeper looking for the mechanical causes of the problem, but also the energetic causes. He will finish the treatment with an energy release. The first effect is fast because it relieves immediately. Healing can take longer.

Reiki or magnetism: complementary differences

Reiki is learned while magnetism is innate. The latter can and must be cultivated to learn to be mastered, but it is not acquired. Reiki is often taught by a reiki master who will transmit knowledge, a mastery of the channeling of energy. Reiki is a channeling method that does not require a specific gift from the person.

Magnetism is cultivated, but cannot be learned. It is not uncommon that it is a gift handed down from generation to generation. Yet, it is often supplemented by reiki to relieve, even cure some ailments. Indeed, reiki speeds up the process of relief and healing of the care provided by the magnetiser.

Reiki is often questioned because it uses the energy of the universe. In the universe, good and bad energies are present. One can then wonder how to be certain that only the good energies are channeled. Master Reiki responds to this that the universe knows what is good for you and sends you the energies accordingly. Similarly, the question arises in another measure for the magnetiser.

The magnetiser, a gift at risk

For the magnetiser, the question does not arise in the magnetiser-patient sense, but in the other direction. It is he who takes the risk of recovering your negative energies by magnetising you. He must proceed to complete energy cleanings after each treatment so he will not be contaminated by all kinds of bad energies.
