The word Reiki breaks down into Rei– spiritual and Ki– energy. The essence of this healing art is formed from the understanding that behind all of life, there is an intelligence that breathes consciousness into our everyday existence, an energy that can be utilized for healing, relaxing, reducing stress and helping us become as successful as we wish to be. This is why I feel it’s so essential in cities such as London where we can so quickly forget ourselves and especially our health.
